Yes, Tony can hear them in the stands. He could hear Mitch and Lexi talking on the first day of swim practice too - he actually has remarkable hearing when it comes to picking out different strains of conversation. Which is relevant, because if he can't hear it, it didn't happen!
(I could totally go off on a Plato's cave rant, but you've heard it before. Or can wiki it).

Frame 4 is the most awkward thing I think I've written. With Tony's nightmares, imagine trying to tell the person doing it to not do something that can't happen if you don't do it. Or something. No, I'm not blaming Tony for events that haven't happened, because that would be like, shaming someone for wanting to be wanted. Its just awkward dammit! Stop judging me!

Also, frame 6 came out both exactly how I wanted it, and a lot more gay than how I wanted it.
(That usage of the term gay is totally judge worthy. Judge me on that one. I guess I would be better off using the word "fairytastic". Or extra girly, one could say. Girly beyond what a "manly man" should express.
You know, I'm just digging myself a big hole here. So I'mma sit down in my hole and stop talking for a while. Maybe fall asleep. Tomorrow is a really big day for Tony after all, and I really need to be emotionally prepared.

The last panel was really done well.
With this panel, I am reminded of the ending of the book, " The Last Unicorn ". The final thought, paraphrased, is---

" As they left the village, they walked out of this adventure, and into the next. ".

Tony is at this juncture in ones life, so it's understandable that this new, awesome feeling, feminine maybe, but so much more, is enveloping and validating Tony.
