I actually really like how this one came out. The orderly is a cartoonish monster, and Toni looks so utterly peaceful.
This one is a pretty good exception from the apology I made earlier about the poor art this week.

So, in Panel 1, that's what Toni will look like when she begins to go out in public as her correct gender, that of a young female ? Not bad, not bad at all ! I just knew that was going to turn out to be her, from how you had drawn her in the previous drawings of her as portrayed in the dreams.
On the other hand, is that what Toni only dreams that she will look like, and Toni's actually appearance will be feminine nevertheless, but she will look slightly different IRL because of her weight, body size, and physical features ?

@CuteDress&TwinPonytails: How Toni will look when she begins to present in public is an unknown to me. Currently she is dropping a lot of weight so that will be changing. Her body size is currently relatively small, as she has yet to go through the (shudder) male growth spurt that happens during later puberty, which is why all the girls she knows are slightly taller right now. Her facial features should be relatively unchanged.

All this said, how she sees herself and how she actually looks are very different things. This gets brought up in August, when it becomes clear how HE sees himself vs how SHE looks in the eyes of others,
In the first frame, that is how she understood herself in that moment in the hospital. Even though she was bald and had physical symptoms of overdose (bags under eyes, veins, mottled skin), she saw herself as something better.
