I am, as of this page, exactly two months ahead. And that is with doing a few double and triple posts in the past.
This means that if I get sick, or they finally cage me, nobody will be at a loss for this comic, at least for a while.

I actually really like all of the art on this entire page. I just.. I got it right.

Frame 2 - lets talk about residual self image. This term was coined by the creators of The Matrix. It is the mental impression you have of how you look. So if you were to be jacked into a computer program, how would you see yourself? What would you be wearing?
Well, many of you may know that Lana Wachowski was under a different name an gender during the making of the Matrix trilogy. Did you also know that the character "Switch" was supposed to be a male in the real world, and a girl in the matrix? It was cut by the studio. The character's residual self image was being a girl. That's how she saw herself, even if it wasn't how the real world allowed at the time.

I bring this up because, oh my googly Toni, THATS your RSI? I mean, the shirt is nice, and I like the necklace, but BUY A HAIRBRUSH! Have you not looked in a mirror?! Whats going on there, like, 100% humidity? Seriously now! Take a little pride in your RSI!
Though its nice that your RSI is a girl in colour :)

So, Mitch is based on a mostly real person. Ok, the person is 100% real. A person can't be mostly real. That was poor sentence structure. Lets start over.
So, Mitch is mostly based on a real person. Nailed it. RMitch went to school with me through all of high school. He took the regular classes while I took international baccalaureate courses. But that didn't matter to either of us. Because when you talk to him, he understood everything anyone said to him, it just didn't apply academically.
Now, aside from being the nicest guy I have ever known, and still being my best friend, he had a special ability. Two, actually. The first ability was being able to punch, very lightly, and somehow target perfectly between the muscle to make it hurt more than you could conceive of. The important ability though, was what we called (name protected) "Mitch Moments". They occur when you are trying desperately to explain an incredibly complicated or difficult subject, and he summarizes it in two sentences or less. Every time it would happen, which was about once a month, everyone within earshot would literally stop what they are doing and just.. understand. It was as though the very beacon of knowledge lasered into your mind.

RMitch, wherever you are, I really miss you man. I hope you make it out to Vancouver this summer so we can hang out and talk about Fallout. I know I'm a chick now, but.. *bro-hug*

Well, thats the end of my Mar 3 updates.

So, the slurpee cup looks like it got hot and was warped by the sun. Other than that, the whole installment looks good, relatively speaking.

In panel 2, is that an image of what Toni THINKS that she looks like, or is it an image of what Toni will ACTUALLY look like ? It's the difference between perception and reality, and sometimes they are the same, and sometimes they are completely different. It depends on the context. I need to know because I have begun a drawing of Toni, dressed in a Gothic / Lolita outfit. She will be posed doing a curtsy.

Oh ! But I do worry about you from time to time, given your comments about yourself. But your comments are always six weeks to two months old, and then I react and post addressing old, stale news about yourself. I show loving concern two months after whatever has happened to you because of that time warp. But just remember: Like you, I'm a chick now ( actually, always have been ). So, if you can keep going, I can keep going, If I can keep going, you can keep going !!!

Hmmm...what do I see myself as...hmmm..
Once I had a dream that I was a Japanese school girl with blonde hair lost in a college campus that was more castle than campus, totally lost in a maze of hallways, gardens, and towers on the side of a hill.
But I do watch too much anime and always hated college. @_@

@CuteDress&TwinPonytails: The slurpee cup is one of those situations I should have used a ruler and didn't. Bite in the butt, as it were.

I cannot tell you what Toni will actually look like. Despite being months ahead in posting, it only spans into February of her life (lots of significant events happen when you are trans, its hard to fast forward). So I know what she looks like in February, and more important in December, but summer? Your guess is as good as mine.

If I was to postulate, I would guess that she would be 'normal', not goth any more, no crazy hair colours, none of that, just, trying to pass.

Whatever you decide to draw can't be wrong, because there is no wrong way for her to BE drawn. So however you want to proceed. Heck, she might even go loligoth to Calgary Comicon, even if she wouldn't normally, right?

As for my brain, yeah, don't put too much thought into it. Tomorrow is my big day with the clinic. We will find out if I'm allowed to walk the streets or if they cage me for a while. Borderline personality is less fun than when it began. Much less. But I'm damn immortal, so no need to worry. I will be here, and so will Toni's story.

@Valley: Sounds like "After School Nightmare". If you haven't read it, I really recommend looking it up, its one of my favourite mangas.

What is your normal RSI? when you imagine yourself in your minds eye, what do you think of yourself as?

Myself, I usually imagine fingerless gloves like Tifa. The rest of me is too varied for any one RSI.
