Who do you think would actually win in this fight? And what does being a bassist have to do with anything?

Frame by frame breakdown, feel free to skip:

1 - Gary is a pacifist? Hahaha, what is he, a vegetarian too? What, he is? Why do you even know that?
P is too young to kick-- wait, she IS training for MMA, isn't she?
Tony saying no and giving the thumbs up and smiling is such a great reaction. It makes me smile.
The shirt he borrowed has the answer to life. Score!

2 - Have you noticed the skull this past week? THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GO INSANE! I've been laughing maniacally (like at the start of Disturbed - Inside the Fire) every half hour or so, uncontrollably. I made a bit of a hand typo on the skull, and I thought it was hilarious, so I kept doing it. No, it isn't because Toni is drunk, and no, it isn't really happening, I just wanted to do it. Deal with it. Yeesh, can't I have a LITTLE fun?

3 - Nothing to say.

4 - I get the feeling Jamie would absolutely destroy Bill if he had to. Also, while I was drawing this frame, I kept breaking down laughing because I would shout 'KISS HIM!!'. The internet has broken me!

5 - Way to win the argument, Bill. Also, 'queer faggot' is sort of a redundant statement, and it makes you sound really stupid.
..and calling Toni 'it' is about the cruelest thing you can do.

6 - Jamie: Rage. Tony: Complete acceptance.
I don't think complete acceptance is a good thing. Toni, you gotta fight! Tony, you need to FIGHT. Annie, you need.. to fight.

---
Artist note - holy crap I'm embarrassed about the art on this page. You people actually kept reading with this crap? If I didn't shudder at the thought of doing post-pro again for 400 pages, I would redo them all in a heartbeat.
Sorry for the utter crap. This is just.. wow. WOW. TERRIBLE.

Yeah! I keep reading! It's a great story, art is not as important as the story. A great looking comic with poor writing is terrible comic.

So keep up the great work! 'cause there are people who love this comic.

I will just repeat Noodlez comment---

Ya ! I keep reading, every single day, and I try and comment about the art work and story, for good or for bad. I also comment when something in the comic seems to apply IRL. So keep up the great work, 'cause there are people who love this comic.

I said it once a while ago, and I'll say it again. All things considered, IMO, this comic, Wildflowers, IS BETTER than " Rain " or " Venus Envy ". ( Don't believe the frequent saying that pops up here from time to time---" Go read Rain or Venus Envy instead of Wildflowers " --- Just don't believe it !)

@Noodlez:
@CuteDress&TwinPonytails:

Thank you both. I meant it more in a personal way, this page really bothered me with how off-center everything is. Specifically frame 4, I could redraw it in 2 minutes and it would look so drastically different, so drastically better, that this makes me angry how bad I used to be. Even comparing Zen and Zen (Redone) the difference is night and day.
I'm one of those people who starts reading a comic, and if I hate the style, I just can't keep reading it. Looking over the first few chapters, I really doubt I would have kept reading.

The thing about VE and Rain is that the authors seem to love their characters. I may write compelling story, but it seems most of the time like I'm punishing Toni, and that is pretty heartbreaking. Whereas they give both good and bad, with quality art to back it up.

@GreenKrog about VE & Rain: The one thing I don't like about their stories is that everything goes back to normal, which is not what happens with real life.

In this story it's like "oh, finally got that accomplished, feeling good....but this, this and that is still bugging/affecting me"

@Noodlez: Fair enough. I do spend a significant amount of mental time getting into the character's heads (all of them, not just Toni/Annie). So I know what rides on them after events have concluded.
By that same margin, it's taken me an entire year to tell like, 4 months of story :)

..oh. Right. Happy birthday Wildflowers. I'll be done your second year be the end of next month.

@cornchipwarrior: Music itself tends to be one of those things where it doesn't matter what you look like or who you are, so long as you can play/sing. Then, like a D&D group, they become the family you spend the most time with.
