If you don't know what Playdium is, it is essentially a giant arcade. You can either drop quarters/dollars normally, or you can buy a pass that lets you have unlimited gaming for a few hours. Last time I got a pass, I got *really* good at Buck Hunter. I don't think they have them in Canada any more. Playdiums, I mean, not buck hunters. I am sure people still hunt bucks. The monsters!

Also, the word length and construction of bubble in frame 3 drives me absolutely insane.

Fun fact: RRons real sister is younger than him!

Fun fact: The arm warmers I always wear are black and white stripes! I don't have pink anything! I can't pull off pink.

Frame 6: Did Toni actually say that out loud? Or just think it?

They still have Playdiums! They still have one over in Missasauga ontario. It's the one I went to as a kid, now my favourite game there was HYDRO THUNDER. It was a boat racing game :3

I don't know that we have anything like that in the US anymore, certainly not in my area. I did enjoy Hydro Thunder before the local arcades all died though. =3

@Noodlez: This last winter I went back home to Calgary to visit family and RMitch. I figured the best possible way to hang with RMitch was to eat a food and go to an arcade. Every freaking arcade in the city is closed. even the one at the university. It makes me a sad Krog. We are super lucky to still have a really decent one at Metrotown in Vancouver. It has a bunch of asia-only imports too, so that's pretty sweet.

@Fey Prevesk: Ever try that firefighter game? That was super hard, I blew like an hour on it one day.

@GreenKrog: I don't think any of the arcades in my area ever had that one. If they did, I never tried it. I was always more of a fighting game and DDR girl in my arcade days. ^_^

@Fey Prevesk: I am mad jealous. I'm built like a mule - I can walk infinite miles but if you ask me to dance or use my feet for anything other than standing and walking, nope.jpg.
..my bro (the RBill, if you will) won come citywide tournies for Street Fighter 2. He was badass!

@GreenKrog: I haven't played DDR in years now, and I was still living as a guy when I did, but I've always been pretty small, only slightly above the various averages for women in America, so I have been very lucky.

I've never done any tournaments, I was never quite *that* good, but I'm not at all bad at my fighting games (the SNK games were always my favorites: Fatal Fury, Samurai Showdown, King of Fighters), I'm just not particularly competitive. I definitely was never one of those "push masculinity to the max to hide from the trans" types. ^_^

@GreenKrog: I have a model friend who I impressed with my DDR skills. I'm not spectacular, but I was the best guy her or her mom had ever seen on a DDR pad. Balance ftw :) As for arcades, the closes thing around here anymore is a few beatup machines left in the local theater. Even the Chucky Cheeses closed shop =/

That fire-fighter game was cracktastic. Kinda reminded me of the Jurassic park lost world shooter.

But yes Playdiums with all the DDR machines to yourself is awesome.
