Ok, so, do you play Killing Floor? If so, you would know why the name of this makes me laugh. I know, its not the same thing, but all I can imagine is Julie rampaging around with a chain gun and laser eyes.

Also, art.. frame 6 is a disproportionate monstrosity, but, its kinda works, so, whatever. Could be worse. Story of my art there days..

The details of the conversation in frame one could take an hour to go through.

Frame three - this is the first time Andrea has ever seen Annie in non-goth stuff, as a girl. And of course, Tony is worried about how he looks. So much dynamic of brainwork here.

..Dan. Her name is Annie.

When you read 'The Embrace', did you imagine Julie chomping down on their shoulders and bleeding them dry, then feeding them her blood? Yeah, me neither. *shifty eyes*

Overwhelming motherly love? Frame 6 looks perfect.

@Elessir: She, like Annie, had a pretty rough.. well, year, I guess. Its hard to feel like a complete person when there is so much emptiness inside.

But a mother's love, even if it isn't your biological mother, is enough to make anyone feel like there is a place in the world for you.

I can't have my own kidlettes, but I've done my best to be the mother bear to my techs at work, my friends in person, my guildies online, and now the people who read Wildflowers. I hope at least that small part of me has been enough to make a few people feel truly loved.
