There is a lot going on here. Like, a LOT.
I'm not going to talk about it. Draw your own conclusions.
..complexity.

If not you, then I will talk about it. In panels 4 and 5, if Annie is continuing to take HRT and hormones, then her boobs are probably becoming tender and sensitive. I like how that is shown, as if it is such a surprise to Annie. Maybe it is ! Andria's look in panel 2 is wonderful !

BTW---What is Boxer Day, for us non-Canucks ?

@CuteDress&TwinPonytails: She isn't actually on hormones at the moment, just on blockers. So it is actually just her being exceedingly jealous of someone who has them when she wishes she had them.
Remember, she needs permission from her parents to actually be on hormones, and that hasn't happened yet. Being a minor sucks!

Boxing day is actually explained fully tomorrow. Have patience, my pet!

Nevermind, I saw the door opening in completely the wrong place. Optical illusion kinda thing.

@GreenKrog: Oh it just looked like the door knob was on the wrong side of the door, but I was seeing the doorway in the wrong place. Thought there was a small hallway heading back and the door was on the side of that. No clue why I thought that. My fault, not yours. :)

@EmJay: I totally see what you mean. The door is too long, it wrecks the perspective. I will fix it in the next hour.

Looks as though Andrea's suffered more than a punch to the eye - putting that together with her comment from the Brents' and it's likely dad's been beating her up (or worse) and given dire threats of even worse if she dares to tell anyone.

Meanwhile, I hope red text isn't driving when the band picks up A&A...

@mittfh: Yeah, Andrea's life is.. not good. Like, really not good. I suppose anyone who has to run out of their house with no coat and is terrified to go home late.. yeah.
I have to say, I am not really familiar with parental abuse, not having had friends who have gone through it. So anything I do is conjecture and speculation, and I hope I give it the importance and gravity it requires.
*Edit. I am quite experienced with some types of abuse, but not physical assault. To clarify.

What I do know from reading is that there is usually no need for the abuser to make threats about telling anyone. If the abused feels like they have any way to walk out of this, threats wouldn't change anything.

I guess I never actually state it, but Andrea's abuse is only violence and verbal, not sexual (and not neglectful, like, she does have food and clothes). Her dad is clearly not a good person, but even bad parents do some things right.
Contrast this with Tony/Annie's mother, who doesn't even cook or supply food for her kids. That is neglect, but not the same as physical abuse.

It may have not been totally clear, but P uses Harrington (the top left in frame 3) and Jamie uses Times New Roman 3.5 ("speakerphone, dude"). So red text is actually Jamie, because, he be bleeding through the face now.
...I would HOPE that P isn't suicidal enough to try to smack the driver while they are on route!
