I wonder what you DO get for a geneticist? I bet Annie knows. Probably something from ThinkGeek.

Frame 2: That is supposed to look like a crowd. Go art.

Frame 4: Besides what, Jamie? Hmmm?

Bottom: Remember, only whatever Annie can hear actually happens. She heard it. She knows how she looks. And yet, she can still see her true self in the mirror.
Jamie looks really angry. Vein in the temple and everything. Wonder if he can take that sales jerk? The sales guy seems pretty big.

You don't have to " take " the sales jerk Jamie, you just " take " your business elsewhere. I guess that the sales jerk really is a real jerk, because sales people who want their customers to spend money at their place of business, never make disparaging comments about how the customer is dressed, or what they are buying.

As long as they are presenting out in public fashioned as best that they can be, transgender people should not have to fear the experience of going out and shopping for clothing and accessories for their correct gender, regardless of the gender that they are presenting at the time. ( Within reason, of course. Don't go to the shopping mall looking like a drag queen, hooker, or a homeless, and expect to be treated well. For example, ordinary guys, dressed as guys, or MTF's dressed in a pretty dress, pantyhose, and pumps should be able to shop for female clothing in the ladies section of the store without any unkind remarks from sales clerks, or unwanted attention from other shoppers or security. )
