She is 'rotund'. If you haven't noticed, a few of the fem-types are packing a few extra pounds. And you know why? Because THAT IS REALITY. Some women are thin, some women aren't. Some women have long hair, some don't. Some have high cheekbones and full lips, some don't. And some women have a vagina when they are born, some don't.
Don't let some.. THING.. define who you are or what you do. Be the person you ARE. Not the person you think others see, or what others want you to be. Be who YOU are. Love yourself. Always love yourself.

Agreed. Be who you are, love who you are, the opinions of others do not matter.

LOL!

reply

LOL! Its funny now but things like this can really make your day when you are early in transition.

On one of my first days out as Patricia I backed out of a parking space and nearly hit another car. The driver yelled "Watch where you're going, you dumb broad"

That guy never knew it but that put me in a good mood for the rest of the afternoon.

@PattyM: Not just early in transition. I don't think I have a problem passing (I've never been called on it, at least) but it still makes me happy beyond reason when I am referred to as the correct sex.

Hopefully it's just me, but it is one of those things that doesn't seem to go away. I'm always a little on edge, seeing my own invisible flaws. So it makes me happy when anything goes against said flaws. :)

Still nice to hear

reply

Oh, its still nice when someone calls me "Ma'am" or some courteous guy holds the door.*

Being yelled at would not get the same happy reaction today.

* I DO draw the line at my spouse's calling me "matronly". MATRONLY?? I am not matronly.

"Matronly" is a description of Margret Dumas who played the society woman in Marx brother's movies. She was the straight man to the Marx madness.

"Matronly" my ass!

@Msora: Of all the things I am willing to put her through for the sake of story, that is one place I can never take her. If I even think about it, someone needs to take control of this and take it from me. Nobody should ever suffer that way. Nobody should be so without hope as to enact permanence of scars on themselves.
So long as I carry that reminder, she will never know it.
