I kinda hate this chapter. Not surprisingly. I keep writing terrible things and watching them unfold.

On a happier note, I redid the page "Glamour". It is.. velvetty. She looks happy. And serene.

So, our main character is back to being the same as they were in Installment No.38 Tuesday Nite. All this time and experiences, and Tony/Toni/Annie seems to have not learned anything. Then again. . . .

@CuteDress&TwinPonytails: How is it the same? In #38 she had no idea what it would be like to be herself and be happy. Now she does, but she also knows exactly how difficult it can be. I think she's learned a lot, just, not what she would have ideally.

Right now she is probably more angry at herself than the rest of the world. Before, she was more empty than angry.

I understand your points. I should have said, " back to being similar to ". She has not learned to be true to herself, and/or true to her " coming out to herself ", so as not to turn back to mimicking her former gender identity. To me, if one has not learned that, then one has not learned anything of substance about transgender issues.

@CuteDress&TwinPonytails: Ah, gotcha. I think she does know her true self, she is just so damn afraid to do it, to face all the stuff that will hurt her, that she is having trouble staying with what would eventually be her true path.

Unfortunately for a large portion of trans* people, they may still be suicidal or detransition after their initial coming out. Considering hoe monstrously difficult her coming out has been so far, in her shoes, wouldn't you be tempted to throw in the towel too?

Again, I get your point. This just shows Annie's strength of character, or lack thereof. But everyone's transition is different and unique to themselves. Annie is no different.
