Frame 6 - do you think Jamie forgot? Or that he was just trying to be there for her and it slipped his mind?
How hard must it have been for Annie to say that out loud? Even if they knew the 'truth', quote unquote, it is different to actually say it.

A note on colour;

The more Annie loses herself in being her true self, the more colour there is in her world. She stops looking at things in black and white and worrying about threats, and instead experiences what the world has for her.

If she is wearing colours but skin is still white, it means she must feel close to spirit, but there is something holding her back.

When she is in black and white, then she truly feels held back, as though she isn't herself. She is Tony.

Worst, is when the world is in greyscale. It means that she not only can't feel close to herself, but her spirit is so darkened that colours that should be bright are washed out and silent.

Its a big artist thing, it kinda comes up a lot as we progress, so I felt I should explain it.

I know I don't know her, and I don't know her situation, and the main character is Toni/Annie, but..
Why do we have to die? Why can't people give us their hand in love instead of striking us down? Why does this have to happen to so many LGBT kids? why did it happen to me, and to Toni, and to almost every trans*person I've met?

Lexi, I will never know you, and now I will never get the chance to. I pray that you have found a place to be at peace. I pray that you found the wings that this world denied you.

OCD's bugging me on this one. She may be male, but she's not a boy.

@ember: of course she isn't. But she thinks that having the body she has qualifies. Some day she will know the difference, but for now, she is still lost sometimes.
