Sorry for the massive text dump. Sometimes a person has a lot to say.
Ever wonder why Bill was so harsh, but always breaking his steely exterior? This is why. He knew that Annie would get hurt, and if he could do just enough first, they would leave her alone. Yes, it was misguided, but he really meant the best.
I wonder how my brother would have been if I came out at that age?
Turns out one of his long-time friends came out to him as gay shortly after high school, and it took him slightly aback. And then he realized he didn't care.
I bet he would have protected me too.
He did beat up some guys who stole my bike. Totally the same thing.
You suggested I jump forward to April but now her brother is being nice. Could you tell me when that happened because he was still a jerk back on 375? Ha - that's what happens when you skimp forward.
ETA thanks for the heads up
@stickygirl: You misread, I said to *not read april*. As in, Apr 2014, the current month we real life people are in.
All the in between stuff is important, but the next two weeks of updates include one short but very important arc is very triggery for those who have experienced sexual assault.
I love this page but I need to ask about Annie's left arm in the first pannel
@Atelier: Uh, it is going behind her back, but the artist (me) managed to make the arm go downwards on the inbound and upwards on the outbound. Frankly, it means her arm must be broken in at least one place. It is pretty damn alarming, when you point it out. Like, horribly alarming. Almost as much as the fact that they have no space for their brains in their heads this early in the series, with their eyes nearly at their hairline. Nothing is right! NOTHING!
*falls the the ground, weeping and gnashing teeth*
You know how I like to say it gets better? The art doesn't.
