I almost feel like this page could have done without text entirely.

---

I was texting this page when my boss came in to the tech room I was working in. He noticed how Annie was gradually losing colour. I don't think he quite gets it, and, thats ok. He doesn't have to.
Dubs, you are the best boss I've ever had. That you talk to your employees not as subjects but as equals, and spend money on us because you want to, not because you have to? That you read this comic? That you have supported not just one, but two trans* people in your employ?
You are a truly remarkable man. I hope you know that.

I came out as GQ to my friends! Well... some haven't noticed yet. It's really weird to be called "they" but i like it! Thank you for writing this comic, it's just great <3

My parents don't know yet, but i've been getting gradually more masculine and have been getting clothes to match. To them, i'm a tomboy, but my choice in clothing means a lot more to me and i WILL be going to school in what I want today. Thank you again :D

My immediate boss is also a most wonderful person, and has supported me as I transitioned to that of a female truck driver over two years ago. However, I still do not know what upper management thinks about having transgender people as employees. I still can be fired at the drop of a hat at any time, because there is no real protection for transgender people provided by the Federal USA government, nor in the Ohio or Georgia governments.

@Dew: The only reason I write this comic is so that people like you can go out there and be yourself with confidence. All I'm doing is hiding on the other side of a monitor, putting squiggles on a page. For you to tell your friends and parents and live your life, really LIVE Your life - that is all the thanks I could ever want.

Sorry I haven't had much in the way of GQ/FtM issues presented. I did a bunch of math and there would only be one other trans*teen in Annie's city, and you don't meet him until December.
