Why DID I make such an excellent segue?

That has to be my favourite expression so far. Even more than the stupid one on Bill's face when Annie was talking about boys.

Ok, so, colourblindness. Remember way the heck back when I put up that ONE filler page about me being colourblind? There were some people who brought it to my attention that girlies can indeed be colourblind. Wiki: 8% of men and 0.5% of women have red-green colourblindness. It's a long article, but yeah, it can happen.
Also, I have excellent nightvision, and can see movement like a champion. I like to think of myself as a T-Rex instead of colourblind.

WHAT DOES VIC MEAN HE WILL BE SATISFIED ON SATURDAY?!

LOL at "HOW ABOUT THAT LOCAL SPORTS TEAM", I kinda do something similar actually, when there is an awkward pause, I usually say "so how about that there new fangled internet, pretty exciting!" usually people laugh XD

As for colourblind-ness I remember that comic, I knew girls could get colour blind, but I figured it was such a small amount of women that people think they can't.

Also, my nightvision is horrible. Driving at night scares the crap outta me :(

I'm having language issues. RMitch could be saying 'lets look' but I think 'book' means something else? And you said 'an excellent segue' but maybe you mean seque, but is segue a mash up between segment and sequence? I feel pathetic.
Night vision is all about rods and cones... and carrots. Rods are more sensitive but are mostly BW so you don't see colour at night so much and makes you motion detection better, but the cones are mostly in the centre of your vision, so when you look straight at something in the dark it disappears. Being a geek means I know stuff like this but I don't know what 'lets book' means, which explains why I feel pathetic, but that's ok.
I've also given up trying to second guess the whole party thing, which I know will be a relief to everyone, including me.

@SG: segue - to make a transition from one thing to another smoothly and without interruption. I believe it's a musical term.
And I'm not sure what "let's book" means either, but I'm old. I'd say it's an Americanism, but both GK and I are Canadian, so it must simply be something the kids use these days :)

@JohnR: You are correct! Though apparently to book is Dutch as well as American. How the RBill learned it to teach it to me, Iunno.

@stickygirl: se·gue
ˈsegwā,ˈsā-/
verb
1.
(in music and film) move without interruption from one song, melody, or scene to another.
"allowing one song to segue into the next"

noun
1.
an uninterrupted transition from one piece of music or film scene to another.

So basically, linking one comic to the next without a noticable transition. In other words, when you load the next zone in a video game without going to a loading screen.

As for 'to book', this should shed some info; http://goo.gl/91P4np

In my case, I learned it from the RBill. It was always just a term for 'lets get out of here' or 'lets roll' or 'lets ditch'. Never really thought about it.

Uhuh... we used to use the word book in place of good - it was something to do with the old predictable text before smart phones I think: if you typed good, it came up with book.
I bet I hear the word segue in the next 24hrs now :)
