Look at me, being all coy and making them have a good time.

Or maybe they are actually having a good time, ever think of that? Ever think maybe I won't drop the hammer?

The two songs:
Frame 3 - Disturbed "Voices"
Frame 6 - Taylor Swift "Our Song"
Both used without permission, of course. Also, yes, in Alberta you can sing country music and nobody thinks twice. Out here in BC, everything thinks I'm broken in the head. Er, I mean, I am, but broken because I know all the lyrics to like, all the country songs.

Fun fact: The usual path from Calgary to Drumheller goes through Beiseker. That village is about 70 km outside of Calgary, so its about a 45 minute drive at best, so, there is no way they could have listened to the entire CD and still had time to make a playlist change. Unless Vic is just screwing with her. There just isn't really another city betweem Calgary and Drumheller so I went with what I went with, ok?

Is country rap a thing there, too? It's a thing in the south, in the US. I don't know why. Bos drive by in their jacked-up trucks blasting that shit, and I just can't. .-.

Edit: Forgot, Bo=Redneck ass, Jacked up= Huge wheels, designed to be as large as possible, annoying, monster-sticker-covered, loud, and having the worst gas usage I've ever seen.

And apparently spray-painting your back lights black is a thing now, which makes them useless and accidents and blah blah, which combined with the fact that until VERY recently, the person who hit someone is ALWAYS at fault, no matter what, was getting these assholes paid.

Grrrr.

I was born in Nashville, and I currently live here, and yet personally, I honestly fail to see the appeal of modern country of any flavor. I know I can't be the only one, but it honestly feels like I am.

@Grenartia: I mean... Some isn't horrible? I like some of Taylor Swift's old stuff, simply because I grew up with it and memories and all. That and classics and such. But nothing else. So you're not the only one, kinda.

I mean, I like Johnny Cash's stuff, but I honestly can't see the appeal of anything anybody else has made in, say, the last 20 years.

I was told it would be getting dark several pages ago. The darkness makes me feel better about my own life in comparison. Darkness plz.

@GreenKrog: "...45 minute drive at best..."

So maybe Vic took the scenic route? :)

Alternately, if the rain was so intense he was driving very slowly (e.g. 30mph / 50kph) that would take nearly 1½ hours.

There's two possible ways of handwaving the time taken...

@mittfh: I don't pay you to bring your 'logic' and 'making sense' into this! Besides, if I hadn't brought it up, how many people would have even googled it? Real places! THINGS! Aerobics!
