I've actually never commented, but I've been reading for a year. Ever since my wife decided to transition to who she really is I've read comics and articles like this to understand what she's going through. That being said, I was prompted to say your art has gotten substantially better. I particularly noticed how well panel 3 turned out. It can be so difficult to show someone with their arm crossed and you did a great job!

@Dominique: I really appreciate your kind words. While I believe I do a fair job of illustrating the internalized transphobia many trans people feel, I also put a fairly 'worst case' mental scenario. I can only hope your wife has not had anywhere near the same internal hurt, and her story is a little closer to that of Rain.

After three years, I would hope the art got better! I'm getting closer to being done with the archives, so eventually you will be able to re-read without wanting to retch. Thanks for sticking with it.

Edit: You are awesome and a good person for supporting someone in their hard times. I wish you both good things.

@GreenKrog: I've known she was trans before we married 10 years ago, but she hadn't planned on transition and was living her life like a male. I didn't realize what exactly it meant until she broke down on a car trip and called me asking if she could transition. I told her of course she could.

We have not had many negative experiences coming from her transition other than losing a couple friends, but the majority stayed with us and we don't have many issues because of it. Everyone just assumes we're a lesbian couple who adopted our kids. :P

Just found this and spent far too much time I should have been sleeping reading the entire story. Love it. Now I have to wait for each page. Nooooo!

@Anna: Sorry to soak up your time. Did you look at all the 'other reads' above to sink more of your life in to? Good things!
Thanks for sticking through the terribad art and the horrifying storyline. Every new fan matters greatly to me, I'm glad we could be there for each other.
Also - you got posts all the way through Oct 2015, so even if I drop off the planet, you have an entire year updating! Often with more than one per day!
