Compounding rejections.. at least they all came at once, and now things will get better. Right?

Come on Bill, get your brain into gear! You created this mess of confusion, it's up to you to salvage it... for all three people (after all, his hesitancy at replying coupled with Annie's question could be misinterpreted as Annie being another girlfriend, which would be bad for all of them).

The reactions of both Bill and Sharon indicate he hasn't told her he has a sister - quite possibly he hasn't told he he has any siblings.

Awkward. Can he get out of this while maintaining his relationships with both Sharon and Annie?

@mittfh: I never even looked at it as the possibility of Bill's girlfriend Sharon looking at Annie as a threat in that way. Cuz, eww! Now that you mention it though.. eww!

I think the only way to fix this properly is just to be blunt, honest, and get to the point. Which would require Bill to be able to, you know, say it and not be embarassed - which he SHOULDN'T be, especially after all this, right?
...then again, shouldn't Sharon have, erm, seen his kidney knife wound? You'd think this would have come up before now.

I also thought that Sharon thought Annie was Bill's other girl. Which is definitely weird but easy to explain. Honestly, if I was Sharon, I would kind of want an explanation as to who the strange woman breaking into the house while I was doing it was too. Of course, if Bill isn't a total ass, that should be really easy.

This will be really hard.
