Annie is trying so hard to talk herself into being in a better space. She is trying. Sometimes it works, and she can leave the house and pretend to be happy long enough to actually be happy.
And sometimes.. she lets herself slip back in.

If you are wondering what Annie actually looks like? The looks like the bottom left. She is beautiful, even if she thinks she is flawed.
Too may trans people see the little things that they think everybody else sees. For transwomen, that little extra squareness of the jaw. That little bump on the throat. That clearly visible five oclock shadow that nobody else can see. For transmen, those too-high cheeckbones. Being too short. Small hands. All the other stuff that nobody notices except themselves.

It can be so hard to move past focusing on all of your perceived flaws. But I can guarantee that it isn't anywhere near as bad as you think.

* This is SO true. As long as one is dressed and groomed as best as one can be, then any trans*person has to get past this dilemma of always worrying about one's looks, in order to go out in public dressed as one's own correct gender. Regardless if I am perceived as an adult woman wearing a pretty blouse, a short-hemline pencil skirt, and Mary Jane pumps, or as a " man in a dress ", the important thing is that I am out in public as my correct gender, even thought if I am seen as an adult female, I am more of a ordinary 'Plain Jane' than a fashion model style 'J-Low'.

Is Annie still taking the female hormones that were prescribed by Dr(s) Bernt ? They can possibly have a positive effect on Annie as she continues to meditate on her gender concerns.
