I can't remember, but that may be the first time the reflection is better than the original. Yay self esteem!

Frame 5: Yes, the reflection Annie is frailer, thinner, and sadder. That's who she is seeing.

Uh.. who DIDN'T see that slap coming?

@AgentCarolina: I sorta kinda get the feeling Valerie has been bitchslapped for being a bitch on more than one occasion.

@mittfh: Either you are giving Valerie too much credit or you are giving Vic too much credit. SOMEONE had to start it, right? Or were they rehearsing for a play?

The slap was going to happen from the moment she saw V&V kissing. While of course she saw it out of context, given Vic's parent's ultimatum regarding his relationship with Annie and habitation in town, it's not hard to see why Annie would think V&V were "an item".

However, as often happens in tales where a girlfirend spots her boyfriend kissing someone else, there may be an innocuous explanation - although it often takes a while to emerge.

It'll be interesting to find out what Valerie was intending to say to Annie, given she approached her and used her name (rather than an insult as she's prone to do)...

I meant it more of an "oh dayummm" she didn't see it coming from Annie type thing. I mean hell, with her attitude if she hadn't been bitch slapped at least once before I would be a little shocked.
