You really think Annie wouldn't bring delicious food bars when she intended to make breakfast? She may be ambitious, but she isn't foolish enough to poison the two of them on a mountain.

Also, if you haven't seen the Alberta coat of arms, here you go;

Alberta has a really interesting geology. Due to the glaciers spreading during the ice age, it transitions from barren tectonic (ie, not volcanic) mountains into rolling hills. We call them the Foothills - as in, the hills at the feet of the mountains. It then becomes, almost immediately and without transition, incredibly rich prairies lands. From the mountains, you can actually look out and see the mountains turn to hills, and the hills to golden endless fields of wheat.
It's sort of breathtaking, especially when you don't have a muscled guy standing in the way blocking your view.

I love Alberta. While BC is more fundamentally breathtaking, Alberta has more variety and is somehow more fascinating. It has Jasper and Lake Louise. On its winding highway out of the eastern Rockies, I drove RIGHT THROUGH the end of a rainbow. Besides, looking west at Calgary toward the mountains? What can beat that?
