I bet Julie thought this would be her ace in the hole. Though she did manage to get a little smile out of Annie, so.. it kind of worked.

Does Annie still have the Bishop McNealy High School female school uniform tucked away somewhere ( First seen in No.69 " Kyle, Round 2 " ) ?
Oh ! But wait ! If Annie is being transferred to a different school, then Father Lacroix High School will have it's own style of female school uniform,
wouldn't it ?

@jfc: You know, I want to be upset at your comment. It is cold and unnecessary. But when we think about it, as outsiders - you are totally right. She does respond to physical pain quite well, and it does seem to snap her out of whatever she is feeling emotionally.

However, not all of us are outsiders. Some of us have this mental track. I know there were days where I would go in to my job, everyone would treat me normally, even get a compliment or two. But then I would see myself in the mirror, that one unplucked hair, and no amount of niceties would mean anything to me. It would take days for me to unbreak my own mental track.

This is still a learning process for Annie. Your comment of someone beating her resounds with me because I never experienced physical violence due to my transition - except at my own hands. My arms are scarred beyond words because i couldn't respond to anything but physical pain.
Do you really want Annie to go down that path? To only be able to fix her own mind by slicing into her flesh? To permanently scar herself because she is having a hard time adjusting?

I sincerely hope not. Nobody deserves that. They deserve a good family, better friends, and love enough to hold us up until we are strong enough to support ourselves.

@jfc: The concept of "beating some sense into" a person is appealing, but it doesnt actually work. In the end, all you've done is abuse someone.
