FAE = Fallen Angel Empyrean. Which apparently Bree is part of. Wonder if they have gang tats or something. Clearly Wendy has some problem with "them". Whoever "them" is.
I only sorta kinda know who "they" are right now. Details to work out, indeed, many a detail.

Flint now has a last name. And it is sort of awesome. Flint Vandel - attorney at law. Flint Vandel, cowboy espionage. Flint Vandel, cloud wrangler. Flint Vandel/Annie Andrews 2016! Dial Q for Flint Vandel.

Not gonna lie. I remember the first time someone was better at a subject than me in school. Ironically, it was the hormones unit in biology. Some part of my head was just outright blocking out what progesterone does. It refused to learn.
Annie has finally found someone who is better than her at a subject, and she ain't taking it well. Taking her out to "that place" is probably going to end poorly, she is in a fightin' mood!

I imagine Wendy considers FAE bad in the same way as "mathlete" - i.e. not in the upper echelons of the school social hierarchy (usually arranged with sportspeople [jocks, cheerleaders] at the top and academics [bookworms, geeks/nerds] at the bottom). She wants to be at the top of the social hierarchy, while Annie just wants to blend in (without too much regard to social standing).

@mittfh: In my high school, the nerds were actually near the top. Helps that we went to a smurt people school so the nerds were a high population. Given that Annie is going to a smurt people school too, you would think that the smurtness would be a good thing.
Not that this in any way changes how people try to enforce a hierarchy. Or maybe Wendy just has a personal issue with Bree and these FAE characters.
Almost a shame that Annie happened to get sucked into the world of the most prominent students (Wendy is popular according to Flint, everyone seems to know Flint so he is probably popular). Should make Annie's "blending in" pretty difficult to do.

I'm hoping that FAE people are roleplayers and gamers. :D
