Frame 3 is not a nose punch, it is a palm strike done poorly. When you are in close quarters like that, it is hard to land a proper punch, but an upward palm to the nose works pretty well.
...as is my understanding.

I'm sort of wondering if there is something up with her brain at this point with how often she is getting knocked out. Like, I've taken some pretty hard hits to the head and I haven't passed out from it. I did pass out from being punched in the stomach once (when I was younger than her). Maybe I'm just doing it for artistic reasons, that going dark isn't actually about losing conciousness, but about losing the ability or fire to fight. Hmm..
Then again, she was also punched hard enough to make blood come out, and that is a frickin hard punch.

@Nick: Considering how drunk Annie was, she may be asking herself the same question.

... Okay, I know, not funny given what's happening now. I wish I could have made that same joke on a different page.

@Nick: The one on Friday (a few days ago in her world time). It isn't super clear, but he goes to the same school she does. Plus it was the most recent Annie drunkenness.

Yeah, that's what I guessed, but I went back and looked and didn't see him. When he said "we practically slept together then" was he talking about something that happened off-camera?

@Nick: It's worth noting that Annie was very, very drunk. Since we're seeing the story from her point of view, we can't see things she doesn't remember.

@Yan Mouson: Stop being disturbingly on-point and quicker to respond to posts than I am! I'm almost wondering if you have my smackjeeves control panel auto-refreshing in your web browser too! How much do you know about the characters?! Can you tell me what will happen with Kora? What about Cindi, will she X or will she Y? When Bree does the thing, will it mean the end of it or it won't matter at that point? I need answers!

@GreenKrog: Nah, I just work evening shifts that often end late, so I'm still up when new comics come out and I end up reading them earlier than most people.

@Nick: Yan is right. Annie doesn't remember most of the evening. If you recall, she woke up in a strange room and had no idea where she was, even though it was with Cindi. I can only assume she went on a drunken molesting spree to satisfy her pent up lusting that she can only properly express while hammered out of her skull.

Remember when she woke up after previous drinking experiences? She would have to ask things like 'did we..?' because she really doesn't handle alcohol at all.
