Heh, the song 'Hit That' by Offspring. Quality reference is quality!

I don't know why, but I don't think Erica finds Flint very trustworthy. Also, I find it interesting that she'd think of putting a tracker in Annie's phone, or that she'd know how to do that in the first place. Sure, maybe she just went on a wiki walk one time, but that doesn't make for very interesting storytelling, does it?

@Yan Mouson: I don't think Erica finds anyone very trustworthy. Put on top of that, Erica has likely read enough statistics to recognize threat patterns and done enough digging on Annie that she probably has a lower trust threshhold for teenager males.
With how Erica retrieves and synthesizes information, I suspect she is one of those people who just kinda knows everything. Does she really seem like the kind of kind of person who sits at home watching sitcoms and crime dramas after school? Or sits down and reads science?

@GreenKrog: Can't know for sure. She seems like the type who, when she gets interested in a subject, has to know everything about it. Maybe at some point is was a particular branch of science, and maybe at another point it was a TV show. I'm betting that after she met Annie, she did a lot of research about transgender people and may in fact know more about it than Annie does, despite a lack of actual experience with trans people.

@Yan Mouson: Well.. that IS one of the signs of not otherwise specified autism, along with poor social demeanor. (The need to know everything about a single topic and knowing little about others).

We have been overall trying to avoid that whole thing though, because even if I am probably that same kind of autistic by every metric I can find, I am not the authority and don't want to misrepresent. Unlike being a bipolar tranny, I got that on lockdown.

@GreenKrog: With autism being a spectrum and all, I think it's difficult to misrepresent. I don't think it's a binary value where either you're autistic or you're not. Autism is basically a bunch of personality traits that, when prevalent enough, get you a diagnostic. Past the point where you get diagnosed, pretty much anything goes for personality types. Erica's behavior screams autistic, but so long as you don't actually specify where she is on the spectrum, you can't really get it wrong.
