It is hard to make it clear, but this meeting is at another school. Doesn't really add anything to the story, mind you, but I felt that should be made clear.

For the last two panels, this is part of some therapy, especially cognitive therapies. Instead of allowing yourself to rename things to be softer and more 'acceptable' in your mind, you call things exactly what they are. You don't sugar coat, you just go straight in and say it like it is. Then you can begin to fix it.

Unfortunately, this is also not good when what you are saying is open to interpretation or just plain wrong. Case in point.

If I were Lexi, I would have gone with the wolverine cage match. Sounds way more fun.

@Yan Mouson: Well, she is Canadian, and Wolverine is Canadian.. is the wrath of this woman more than the berserker wrath of an animal pysche?

I'm pretty blunt, myself, it's just how I am. Not that I can't encourage, or anything, but some people may take offense, I try often to word things unoffensively, but it is, what it is, I don't sugar coat things, and don't know how to, I don't even undedstand the concept.

I'm not one to look down on elite athlete's training methods, but smoking seems like a really terrible idea for someone in a sport that more or less boils down to competitive breathing.

@Erin: Look at her other options;
Throwing up constantly from the taste of food she doesn't want to eat.
Or
Trying to control situations she can't control and being too aggravated to concentrate on swimming.

I'm not saying she should smoke. Nobody should smoke. I'm just saying that, at this current time, perhaps her smoking is less negatively impactful than if she wasn't.
...psychology sucks.
