You are right about Panel 2 ! Annie is offered what looks like a healthful combo of an apple and a rice cake, but no, she chooses sugar loaded Pop Tarts !

I still don't see why they can't just give her Lupron, or another anti androgen? The clotting issue has to be Spiro specifically, right? Sure it won't make much difference to her actual development, but it sure world help her mental health...

@littlebeast: Two good reasons;
1 ) It is covered by most Alberta health care plans
2 ) the author doesnt know any other anti-androgens.
