"Class of Annie 2012"

Hmm... opens #1 in a new tab and looks at the publishing date - aha! :)

@mittfh: Haha, remember that her life is from the past. Which is important because of the changes in our government in Canada during this time period. During Stephen Harper's Conservative party, near the end they attempted to pass Bill C-16, otherwise known as the Canadian Transgender Bathroom Bill.

The country massively voted in favour of the Liberal government that believes in human rights.

...I used to vote conservative.

@GreenKrog: Something common to most slice-of-life Webcomics is that for obvious reasons, character time moves much more slowly than real time.

Meanwhile, in a certain large country not too far away from you, the parties have somehow managed to select a couple of very dislikeable characters to compete against each other for the grand prize - one who knows politics too well, the other's political naivety borders on cluelessness (which, combined with the character's general obnoxiousness, has somehow managed to alienate most of their party's politicians...)

@mittfh: I am incredibly concerned as to what happens to minority rights in the case that either party comes to power.

Trump plays directly to the stupidest of the country, which always means bible thumping war mongering fear.
Clinton (aside form being a lying bitch) is a lying bitch who was on record in.. I think 2012? Saying she is 100% in support of the 'save the family' or whatever the fuck it was called bullshit, and then a few years later when it matters to her popularity suddenly she support gay marriage, which means she either had a massive epiphany, or she is just fucking pandering to seem progressive, either way fuck that lying bitch.

..the Liberal government did the same thing at the end of their last reign of power in Canada, in which they had a hardline stance against gay marriage until election year, and then they rushed a same sex bill through parliment. The same one that they repealed at the start of their term.

...fuck.

(Im sorry, we probably shouldnt discuss this, I just severely hate how LGBT people are this political coin to be tossed around when all we want is fucking human rights)

2 things:

1. Panel 2: "text" not "test" (I assume)
2. Like so many conservatives and some liberals here in the US, you've been duped by the three decades of GOP lies spread about Mrs. Clinton by misogynist asshats who couldn't stand the notion that a woman might actually have power and influence. The *truth* is that she is a very honest politician and always has been, rated by independent fact-checkers as the single most honest candidate running last year. She does have a history of getting very defensive under the accusatory eyes of the right winger and their house press, and then saying things that parse the truth too carefully, but she's been hunted by them for three decades relentlessly: you would too. (BTW: after that 30 years of relentless hunting, they came up with NOTHING.) And about the LGBT thing... major American politicians are notoriously slow on stuff like that. But she was only two years behind Bernie Sanders, the progressive darling, who was also against gay marriage for a very long time. And she would have been, IMHO, a FANTASTIC President for LGBT rights.

Unlike the complete jerk we have right now, who is only a great President if you happen to share his family name.
