Frame 4 is easily the least actiony panel of all action comics of all time. Look how utterly disinterested he is in in this fight. Good thing Annie is going to break his fucking nose tomorrow.

You know, for a non-action writer, you’ve certainly applied the fundamentals of crafting a good fight scene well. Not in terms of choreography or anything like that, but in terms of narrative framing; the stakes are very immediate and given the fair balance of awful things Annie has and hasn’t been able to prevent throughout the series, I really have no idea how this is going to turn out.

... I hope this rapist bastard slips on ice and breaks his neck, which means I’m also invested!

When Annie gets into situations like this one right now, something intangible kicks in, some kind of firepower in her mind, heart, and soul, and she becomes almost invincible. Like how Twilight Sparkle begins to become overwhelmed by her hidden power, and her unicorn horn begins to glow. Annie can be taken down, but never destroyed. She has shown this many times already, and although she can be physically hurt, she can not be defeated. But lets see what will happen this time . . . .
