Future of Wildflowers

Hello My Little Monsters;

It has been 5 years now. I've posted (and re-drawn) more pages than any other trans web comic artist that I am aware of. However, what I am terrifically bad at is growing an audience.
This Facebook page has 169 followers. My average hits on the comic itself are only 140ish. Clearly I am doing something horribly wrong.
Mostly though, I am just tired. Things seem to get better, then always get worse again. At this point, it seems like my time would be better spent just focusing on single-person therapy instead of writing and drawing this. If people feel strongly enough that I should actually continue this work, I would make a humble request: help me. Help grow this audience. If what I am writing has true merit, then let other people know. It seems pointless to continue when my audience isn't growing - I've already helped the people who are reading.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Maybe we can help more people by reaching more people. I don't need or care about money, never have. I do care about focusing the limited time I have on this planet to the people who I can actually help instead of shouting in to the wind.

-The AnneKrog.

I love Wildflowers, it's one of the few webcomics I read that I can happily spend ages re-reading the archives.
Speaking as someone still very much closeted, I don't really feel comfortable putting anything transgender related on my Facebook feed. I'm just saying that this might be true of others and perhaps you reach more people than you think despite the figures.
I will be sad to see it stop but of course it's up to you how long you continue writing it. I would love it if you found some way of bringing the story to a close rather than abruptly ending it though. It would make reading the archives in future all the more satisfying. Hopefully with Annie living happily ever after. With Flint :)

I only discovered your comic today and haven't made it to Halloween yet so I have a lot to look forward to. If not for comics like this, Rain and Validation I would still likely be fighting my way through denial and acceptance. I would just like to say that I think you are doing something amazing and Thank You.

You should start over, gk. Start a new story. Same people, new people, doesn't matter.

I don't like to comment usually as I have a lot of anxiety, it's difficult for me to type this without freaking or even sign up to favourite your comic Greenkrog, but it is worth it, your comic is amazing and I've read it 2-3 times over, Annie's journey is scarily similar to my own over the years at times and to see the depths of how bad it can get only to have that cathartic release to show that there is hope despite the bad truely inspires my day to day and helps me more than I could ever put into words, Wildflowers is one of my favourite webcomics and I really really thank you for making it, you're amazing and I hope you look after yourself, I really hope you continue because I love wildflowers but if you cant then thank you so very much for everything and I wish you the greatest luck and joy in your future endeavours~ :)
